Hi,

Is it possible to detect whether a connected HID device has been unplugged using the HidSharp library?

The HIDSharp 2.0 alpha I just posted has a DeviceList.Local.Changed event. Also, if you have the disconnected device open, its HidStream should throw an exception when you try to use it.
